Joyride 2025 Recap

What an epic weekend!”

Joyride returned to Justesen Ranch in Tygh Valley, Oregon and the best part was the road riding. No, wait, it was the gravel routes. Or was it the refreshing dips in the cool, flowing water of the White River? Yeah, that was the best. Oh, but the riding clinics led by Oregon- based pro riders Annick Chalier and Serena Bishop Gordon were pretty special, too. And what about indigo dyeing with the folks from DIY Bar; customizing event t-shirts and other gear was very cool. The food, the live music, the expert-led conversations, the Saturday Night Sparkle Prom – all of it felt increasingly more special as the weekend rolled on. That all of what Cycle Oregon and Joyride do to support local communities across the state, now that’s the best part.

Want to know what makes Joyride the most fun event on (and off) the bike? Only one way to find out, come ride with us.

BEST weekend ever! Wish I could relive every moment of the beautiful (and challenging!) rides, supportive and compassionate new friends, and epic disco dance party! My first Joyride, and definitely not my last! Thank you so much for an incredible weekend.

“So much Joy! Still smiling.”

“I love seeing women of all ages and riding abilities coming together for a great weekend of riding and new experiences.”

“Great routes, great music, terrific volunteers and staff, opportunity to spend time with friends, and it’s nice to meet so many interesting new people.”

“I just enjoyed that no matter which route you took and how it went you still have a good time and feel proud. It’s a great event and I love all the female identifying riders that I got to interact with for a weekend! Looking forward to next year!”

“I signed up and was excited to come and thought that the short rides were barely achievable for me, a newer rider. I saw in the weeks leading up that Marley Blonsky would be hosting no drop rides and when I saw that, I felt more confident in showing up and participating fully in Joyride. The short route no drop ride on Saturday was one of my favorite rides I’ve ever done and I’m so thankful to Marley and the work she did to help us all have a great time even if we weren’t confident in our abilities. I think by continuing to have an option of no drop for less confident riders who still want to experience Joyride you’ll be able to get more people to come.”

“I thought I was done riding any organized cycling event. Joyride, these past two years, has reinvigorated my desire to ride.”

“OK, OK, that climb was WORTH IT! We just had the most amazing descent. 100 out of 10, would suffer again for that descent. Look at this view!”

“This was my third Joyride but the first year I attended solo. I had a wonderful time and made many new friends. From the moment I arrived other riders offered help as I set up my tent in windy conditions, lent me tools, made introductions, and included me in conversations. Everyone is so friendly that it’s impossible not to feel like part of the group, even if you arrive alone.”
