- Bike Rodeo: Adults and kids alike can test their skills on our obstacle course. It’s silly, it’s safe, and it’s a whole lot of fun.
- Live Music: We’re bringing the rhythm to the road with live local jams throughout the day.
- Community Expo: Meet over a dozen community groups and partners—from Bike Summer (the artists formerly known as Pedalpalooza) to local advocacy legends. (Attending groups will be listed below)
- Valet Bike Parking: Roll up and let our amazing volunteers take care of your ride while you explore.
- Food & Beverages available for purchase
Why We Party
“It was a stunning day to spend time outside chatting with the community.” -Sorella Forte Cycling Club
“I wasn’t sure what the Cycle Oregon Block Party was going to be all about, but I knew I didn’t want to miss it! So many folks and so much fun catching up with friends!”
“So many folks and so much fun visiting all the booths and talking and catching up with friends!!!”
“WOW. If yesterday was any indication of how incredible this Bike Summer is going to be, y’all better BUCKLE UP and brace yourselves for non stop friend making, laughter, and (of course) fun on two wheels. Best part of the whole day was learning that Blaze of the Portland Trailblazers loves us. Thank you to Cycle Oregon for getting us all out on such a beautiful day.” – Bike Summer

Event Poster / About the Artist: We are thrilled to welcome back former Portlander Matt Cardinal as the artist for this year’s block party. Before moving to Austin, Matt was a staple of the local cycling scene and the creative force behind the award-winning Signal Cycles, whose custom frames earned national acclaim for their design and craftsmanship. Now a UX designer, Matt brings that same North Portland-grown “maker” spirit to his art, blending his background in fine arts and industrial design. We asked Matt to design this year’s poster because he truly understands the soul of our community- no matter where he calls home, his creative roots remain firmly planted in Rose City soil.
