RALLY ’26
August 28 - September 2, 2026
About
Ride the Rogue. Relive the Trail. Rally Together.
Cycle Oregon Rally 2026 explores the legendary landscapes, historic charm and lesser-known routes of Southern Oregon during a week of “who knew?” discoveries. With basecamps split between Grants Pass and Jacksonville you’ll spend five unforgettable days pedaling through vineyard-dotted valleys, forested ridgelines, and along the Applegate Trail, the fabled southern route of the Oregon Trail.
Rally roads reveal sweeping farmland views, charming country stores, twisting forest roads along wild rivers, and the kind of quiet backroads that remind you why you love to ride with Cycle Oregon. Each day offers multiple route options, paved or gravel, so you can make Rally uniquely your own while sharing in the spirit of adventure with old friends and new in camp.
Out here, every climb earns an incredible view, every descent tells a thrilling story, and every small town feels like a new discovery. Whether you’re tracing the Rogue River or rolling past gold-rush-era streets filled with music, art, and great coffee, this is your chance to ride through living Oregon history, accompanied by legendary Cycle Oregon support. All you have to do is ride, we take care of everything else.
In camp the fun continues with live music, cold beer, local wines, and that signature Cycle Oregon camaraderie. As a recent Rally rider put it: “Riding with Cycle Oregon makes me feel like a kid again — no responsibilities, just wake up, ride, eat, laugh, sleep. Repeat.” Saddle up and join us in Southern Oregon for the next chapter in the Rally story, where adventure, discovery, and a whole lot of fun await.

EVENT MERCH
The Jersey
The Rally jersey is built for long days and repeat wear, featuring Primal Wear’s SpeedPro fabric in a classic sport cut. This lightweight, double-knit polyester fabric actively moves moisture away from the body to keep riders comfortable and dry mile after mile. A full-length YKK zipper, raglan sleeves, and three rear cargo pockets make it a reliable, performance-forward choice for multi-day riding. Designed with a standard fit, it provides room where you need it without sacrificing on-bike efficiency.
The Design
The Rally jersey blends retro ’80s-inspired brightness with a modern edge, reflecting optimism, momentum and the energy of riding together. Natural influences and local architecture references are blended with bold color choices to light up the road and celebrate where we’ve been and where we’re going.
Available Sizes: S, MD, LG, XL, 2X, 3X in Men’s and Women’s Fits.

Accommodations
Camping is included with registration. Bring your own tent, or upgrade to our popular Tent + Porter service.
With Tent + Porter you’ll arrive to a pre-set-up tent and luggage service to your “front door” at both base camps, including two chairs out front. All you need to bring is your sleeping bag, sleeping pad and pillow!
Our overnight guests will have designated areas for tent camping, Tent + Porter and RV camping. We have a limited number of spots for RVs, so please be sure to add it onto your registration ahead of time so we save a spot for you!
-
Tent Camping
Camping is included in the price of registration. Don’t forget to bring your tent, ground cloth, sleeping bag and pad.
-
RV and Van Camping Registration & Fee
We have very limited RV camping spots, all dry – no water, power or dumping. Convenient portable toilets and showers will be on site.
A registration fee of $775 is required for each RV/Van Camping spot. Dry/no hookups. Purchasing this allows access to all amenities at the overnight site for one non-riding guest and includes one meal band for the non-riding guest. Please review the section below for Non-riding Guest info.
- Vehicles must register – Anyone accompanying a rider through the week in a vehicle must purchase an RV/Van pass or register as a non-riding guest.
-
Non-riding Guests
Non-riding Guests
Space is very limited in some of our host sites, which limits our capacity for non-riding guests and support vehicles. We cannot accommodate personal vehicles beyond this limited capacity (even if it is just a Prius). This pass is for non-riders who accompany a rider, or group of riders for the event. Please see below for two different options:
Non-riding Guest Registration Fee
One non-riding guest pass comes with each RV/Van registration. Additional rider guests will need to pay a registration fee of $400. The fee includes a meal band and access to the services provided at the overnight site including, showers, restrooms, beer garden, daily entertainment, other food vendors, and medical tent.
RV/Van Registration Fee
A registration fee of $775 is required for each RV/Van vehicle. Dry/no hook up. Includes access to all amenities at the overnight site for one non-riding guest and includes one meal band for that guest.
Important considerations about the Non-riding Guest/Support Vehicle parking program:
- Vehicles must register – Anyone accompanying a rider through the week in a vehicle must purchase a non-riding guest or RV/Van Camping pass.
- Tent Camping – Some of the non-riding guest/Support Vehicle locations will have grass nearby for tent camping, others will not.
- Non-riding guests and Support Vehicles drive alternate routes to each overnight location – To enhance the safety of riders and their overall experience, non-riding guests and support vehicles will often be asked to take alternate roads to the overnight site wherever possible (directions will be provided). The non-riding guest/support vehicles option is not meant to provide support for individual riders along the route.
- Non-riding guests and support vehicle drivers are not registered riders, and so should not be riding the route each day.
- Non-riding guest/support vehicle campsites will be as close to the rider venues as possible – non-riding guest/support vehicle area is not an RV park – more likely it’s a city park, someone’s field or a parking lot.
- Quiet Hours – When possible, we try and locate vehicles that have generators separately from those without. In addition, the non-riding guest/support vehicle area will observe quiet hours (no generators) from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am every day.
-
Vehicle Parking
Unlimited parking will be available at the Josephine County Fairgrounds lot. Security will be monitoring the lot during the week from dusk to dawn.
Price: $55 for the week per vehicle – carpooling is recommended.
Please consider carpooling! Get There Oregon Rideboard – Get There Oregon – Find and share a ride to Rally!
-
Tent + Porter
If you want the star treatment for your camping experience, try the immensely popular Tent + Porter Service.
Imagine this: You arrive in camp and skip the trip to the baggage truck. Instead, you head directly for a primo camping spot, where a spiffy 9′ x 7′ Cycle Oregon tent has been set up for you. Your luggage is waiting outside. And this process repeats itself at each location. Tents fit one or two people, and the service costs $325 for the week. Tents will be set up by 2:00 pm each move day, marked with your tent number.
Tents are limited and available on a first-come, first-portered basis, so register early to ensure your spot. If two of you are sharing, only one person needs to sign up for the service. One or two chairs will be provided with each tent.
Sleeping bags and pads are not provided, so please don’t forget to bring yours.
Getting There
Directions to the camp and the long term parking lot will be included in the Ride Guide which will be emailed to you and published on the website before the event start date.

Baggage
Over 60,000 people have made the week trip with one 65-pound bag; you can too! Here are three simple rules for bags:
- One bag per person. Everything goes in that bag – tent, clothes, etc.
- 65 pound limit. Volunteers hand move all of these bags. Please abide.
- Do not strap/lash bags together. This may injure baggage volunteers.
Baggage Pickup
Participants must pick up and deliver their own gear from the baggage trucks at each overnight camping area. Truck trailers are numbered and fitted with stairs. Remember to note the trailer in which you load your gear so you can locate it easily at the next site.Porters
Local volunteers are usually available to carry bags from the trucks to the campsite and, again in the morning, from the campsite to the trucks. We encourage you to tip the porters ($2-5 per bag is suggested), as this benefits local volunteer groups.Baggage Truck Departure
Baggage must be dropped by 8:30 a.m. on move days and picked up by 6 p.m. that night. Riders are responsible for getting their bags to and from the baggage trucks by the designated times.Make Your Bag Easy to Identify

Best of all, it’s always followed by terrific entertainment.

Course Support
Cycle Oregon prides itself on providing a fully supported ride. Our goal is to help you finish each day’s ride. To that end, our course is complete with the following services and amenities.
Course Hours
Route options (such as gravel and hill climbs) and layover day routes may have a specific closing time. The course opens at 6:30 am and all riders need to be on the course no later than 9:00 am on all days to be supported. The routes close at 5:00 pm except on Wednesday, September 2 the course will officially close at 3:30 pm. Visit Rider Services or join us at the nightly talks at the event to get details about specific course times.
Our sweep team follows behind the final riders to remove route signs and close the course, but their role is also to keep riders moving forward throughout the day. We ask that riders maintain at least 8 mph average speed to stay ahead of the sweep team.
If you start before the course opens or are still riding after the course closes, there will be no support services available. Riders that are about to be passed by the sweep team will be offered a ride either ahead to a stop or all the way to camp. If you choose not to take the ride, you will be on your own to get back to camp.
Food and Drink
2 to 4 rest, lunch and water stops will be available along the route each day to provide water, beverages, nutritious and delicious snacks, restrooms, and bike mechanics. The first stop will open at 7:00 am. Rest Stop signs alert riders when one is just a mile ahead (or look for the banana or sandwich on the route map).
Water Stops will provide water and restrooms (indicated by a water bottle on the route map).
Rest, lunch and water stop opening and closing hours vary based on the length of the route and the 8-mph pace. Visit Rider Services at the event to get details about specific Rest Stop times.
Gear Drop
Gear drop will be available each day at one of our stops. More information will be available in our ride guide.
SAG Vans
There will be multiple SAG vans on the course each day. They are available to transport cyclists as needed due to mechanical problems or medical injuries. They also have extra water, snacks, and sunscreen if needed. If at any time you need assistance, please signal a SAG van with a “thumbs down” signal. If you do get into a SAG van, you may not be transported directly to camp. SAG vans typically wait until they are full to go to camp.
There will be a SAG van available each morning to transport cyclists from site to site if cyclists are not feeling well or are injured. Go to the Medical tent and get a medical release for riding the medical SAG . Bring that form to Rider Services before 8 a.m. to sign up for this shuttle option.
Bike Mechanics
Trek Bicycle Portland returns as our tech support sponsor for the 38th consecutive year! Their staff has significant experience with our events and are fully trained in current e-bike technology though we ask that your bike arrives for the weekend in proper working order. Due to the wide-ranging nature of e-bike systems, we ask that you bring any special parts or equipment unique to your bicycle.
Medical Service
Medical services from Adventure Medics will be available at the overnight site. There is no charge for medical services on the course or at the site. If you require transport to or from a local medical facility, you will be financially responsible for transport and medical services there.

- Friday, August 28, from 11:00 am – 8:00 pm
- Saturday, August 29, from 6:30 am – 8:30 am

Arriving and Leaving Late
If you arrive late on Friday, you can pick up your rider packet on Saturday morning at Rider Services.
No camping will be available on Wednesday night after the event. Consider getting a motel room in the area or finding a nearby campground.

Bike and Gear
As always, the best bike and gear to bring will be the one you are familiar with and comfortable riding. We do recommend that you or your bicycle have the capacity to carry two water bottles for proper hydration and to take full advantage of our renowned rest. Gravel-specific and touring bikes with 35-40c (or greater) tires and low gearing will thrive on our gravel options. All riders are required to wear a helmet when riding on the routes.

Can I bring my e-bike?
E-bikes are welcome on all Cycle Oregon courses for Rally 2026. E-bikes are growing in popularity yet the infrastructure to support them is not always available nor guaranteed in all camp locations.
35 e-bike charging spots are available at $125 for each spot. We can only accommodate pedal-assisted e-bike and not fully electric. Riders are strongly recommended to bring two batteries and one will be charged for them each evening.
Charging Service
We anticipate this program will sell out, so recommend that you register for the event and e-bike charging early.
I signed up for CPAP, can I charge my e-bike there?
No. The power supply for those who require a CPAP machine is often through a single outlet or a single generator; the power required to charge an e-bike battery is too great and could comprise power available to CPAP machines. This service is strictly limited to CPAP machines only.
More information on e-bikes at Cycle Oregon can be found here.
