Round up your crew and join us at the campus of Oregon State University for amazing bike rides, jammin’ live music, friendly college vibes, and all the Corvallis-style fun you can fit into 48 hours. Sleep in the dorms, kick it in the quad, and explore the beautiful town and surrounding areas. It’s all about great rides and good friends.

RALLY IN THE VALLEY
SATURDAY JULY 23
SHORT: 12.3 miles | 100 feet of elevation gain
MAIN: 38.2 miles | 1,022 feet of elevation gain
LONG: 70.9 miles | 4,407 feet of elevation gain
LONG with gravel: 68.2 miles (29.3 miles of gravel) | 5,307 feet of elevation gain
You: There’s no way I could possibly fit any more fun into this weekend.
Day 2: Hold my beer
Adventurous individuals from far and wide will gather in Corvallis with only two things on their minds: riding bikes and having fun. We’ve got them covered on both accounts. On Day 1, riders choose from four ride routes ranging from mellow to seriously epic. They will venture past farmlands, orchards, and forests towards the Coast Range, doubling back from whence they came after an invigorating interlude at a cascading waterfall. After that, it’s back to campus for a frosty beverage, kicking back with the crew, and rocking out to live jams until the final encore.
SUNDAY JULY 24
SHORT: 10.9 miles | 297 feet of elevation gain
MAIN: 38.3 miles | 1,475 feet of elevation gain
LONG: 66.6 miles | 1,683 feet of elevation gain
You’ve explored the grounds, had a taste of the party scene, and figured out how to score an extra dessert. Now it’s time, once again, to ride. Day 2 offers up 4 incredible, easy-cruising options traveling east from Corvallis through postcard-worthy farm country. Out here the scenery opens up into more grand, expansive views of the Willamette Valley with every pedal stroke. Once back at campus, between packing up and goofing off there will be plenty of time for hugs, high fives, and making plans to do it all again next year.

WEEKENDER is all about fun with friends and family, and connection! I was inspired by a “popsicles at summer camp” kind of vibe with this bright jersey. With all the different personalities and age groups that attend this awesome event, using a variety pack of colors made sense. Just like popsicles!
For Cycle Oregon’s WEEKENDER, you’ll have several options for accommodations. You can camp in a tent on campus, stay in a dorm room, sleep in your RV, or arrange for other lodging in town.
The overnight site will have an area designated for camping – “Tent City,” as it’s affectionately known. Don’t forget to bring your tent, ground cloth, sleeping bag and pad. (We do not offer tent service for this event.)
If you wish to upgrade and sleep indoors over the weekend, you can choose from traditional one-room dorms with 1-3 beds and shared bathrooms down the hall, or suites with 5 or 6 beds and a private bathroom. - Only one person needs to sign up for the room.
- Bring a pillow, pillowcase, bottom sheet, sleeping bag or other linens, toiletries and towel.
- Check-in from dorm rooms is from 3-9 p.m. on Friday. Check-out is from 6:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on Sunday.
- Residence halls are not air-conditioned, feel free to bring a fan for your room.
Sleep in Your Vehicle
If you’d like to bring your RV or camp trailer, you must register your vehicle as we have a limited number of spots. The cost for bringing an RV is $45. There will be no hookups available. An RV is defined as anything that cannot fit into a standard parking space.
You may also sleep in your non-RV vehicle if you prefer.
Directions to the campus will be emailed to you in the Ride Guide in July.
Overnight parking for Friday and Saturday nights is available for $15 (click here to get a pass). We will provide directions to the event in the Ride Guide (emailed in July).
About RV Parking:
- The RV Parking site will be based on campus. It’s not an RV park, and no hook-ups are provided.

- Guests may purchase meal tickets for breakfast and dinner at the Cycle Oregon Gift Shop (limited quantity available).
- Guests are not registered riders; they should not be riding the route.
The idea is to have a relaxing, enjoyable weekend of riding. The key to that? Take care of as many details as possible before the ride. In this section you’ll find pretty much everything you need to know to make your Cycle Oregon experience a great one.
Hot showers and any other amenities you might need will be provided at the overnight site. If you are camping, showers will be available on this event (generally in the campus Recreation Center). If you are staying in a dorm, showers will be down the hall or within the suite. Please remember to bring a towel and soap, as we do not provide towels or toiletries.
Friday: 3–11 p.m.
Saturday: 6 a.m.–11 p.m.
Sunday: 6 a.m.–6 p.m.
The majestic mountains of Oregon seem mighty tall when you’re pedaling up them and knowing that a massage awaits you can make that climb a lot easier.
On Saturday only, after a long day in the saddle, bring your tired legs down to the massage tent from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Our therapists use a variety of Swedish, deep-tissue and sports massage styles to keep you riding strong all week. Massage relieves muscle pain and tightness by stimulating circulation, helping you recover after extreme exertion and stopping spasms before they stop you from riding. Massage can be tailored to your pressure preferences and to the areas where you need it most.
Pre-booking is available for all rides beginning April 1. To pre-book appointments, please visit the Cycle Oregon Massage Team’s Web site, click on the ride that you would like to book an appointment for, choose a therapist and contact them directly.
Massage rates are $100.00 for a 60-minute appointment and $145.00 for a 90-minute appointment. We accept all major cards or cash. A limited number of 30-minute appointments may be available the day of the ride. Come to the massage tent directly to inquire.
Yoga instructor Jennifer Hanson will be along on the ride (she actually rides in addition to teaching) to teach two yoga classes Saturday. Yoga is an excellent way to tame sore muscles, relax and stay flexible after a long day’s bicycle ride. Classes are free to all Cycle Oregon riders and mats are provided.
Megan Moseley PT, of Bodywise Physical Therapy will lead a fun, full body, cycling oriented, alignment, stretching, and injury prevention class from 4-5 p.m. on Friday. This class is geared toward balancing and stretching your body to counteract the forward positioning on the bike, and stretch over used muscles / joints related to cycling long distances.
On Saturday, Megan is available between 4 and 6 p.m. for complimentary Physical Therapy consultations. These action packed 15 minute sessions include education about the underlying cause of your issue, instruction in stretches, exercises and self-care techniques, hands-on treatments i.e. myofascial release, graston, cupping, mobilization, taping, bracing, and insole adjustments to get you feeling better, and back on the road! Additionally, Megan will make bike-fitting recommendations, and help you coordinate care with your massage therapist. Sign up at the orange Bodywise tent, located near the medical tent.
The Trek Bicycle PDX (formerly Bike Gallery) team of bicycle technicians provides mechanical support at the overnight site. Technical support is available for emergency repairs of well-maintained equipment. It is your responsibility to make sure your bicycle is in good condition. Labor is available at a discount.
Look for the Rider Services trailer in a visible location near the entrance into camp. Here you can ask questions, meet friends, leave a note on the message board, locate missing items at lost and found, or just stop by for a piece of candy.
Cycle Oregon Gift Shop
The Cycle Oregon Gift Shop is where you’ll shop for Cycle Oregon merchandise including a limited number of this year’s ride jersey, cycling gear, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, jewelry, sundries, and much more. You can also buy extra meal tickets there. Look for the Cycle Oregon Gift Shop near Rider Services.
Medical services will be available on the course, and at the overnight site. There is no charge for medical services on the course or at the site. If you require transport to or from a local medical facility, you will be financially responsible for transport and medical services there.
Food, Drink & Entertainment
Cycle Oregon will provide dinner at the overnight site on Friday and Saturday, and breakfast at the overnight site on Saturday and Sunday. Lunch will be served Saturday and Sunday on the course for the long route only and served in camp for short and medium routes.
Breakfast: 6–9 a.m.
Lunch on course (long route only): 9 a.m.–2 p.m.
Lunch in camp: 11 a.m.–3 p.m.
Dinner: 5–8 p.m.
Beer & Wine Garden
This year we’ll be featuring a variety of local beers and wines from the Willamette Valley area and throughout Oregon. Beverages are available for purchase.

Sunday: 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday evenings at 8 p.m., the Cycle Oregon community will gather around the Main Stage. This is a great opportunity to hear tips about the next day’s route, learn exciting information about the places we’re visiting and catch up on some local folklore. Best of all, it’s always followed by legendary Cycle Oregon entertainment.
Cycle Oregon showcases some of Oregon’s most talented performers, from country rockers to clog dancers, blues divas to jazz greats. Performances are scheduled for Friday and Saturday afternoons and evenings on the Main Stage.
Cycle Oregon prides itself on providing a fully supported ride. Our goal is to help you finish each day’s ride. To that end, our course is complete with the following services and amenities.
Course Hours: 7 a.m.– 6 p.m. (Sunday 4 p.m.)
Course support services are available only during the course hours. If you start before the course opens or are still riding after the course closes, there will be no support services available. All Cycle Oregon riders still on the course after 6 p.m. (4 p.m. on Sunday) will be offered a ride to camp. If you choose not to take the ride you will be on your own to get back to camp.
Food and Drink on the Course
Lunch is provided on the course each day for the long route only. Lunch sites will be complete with food, beverages, restrooms, water, bike mechanics, gear drop and a medical attendant. Lunch is provided in camp for the short and medium routes. Lunch is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
At least one, usually two, rest stops will be available along the route each day to provide water, beverages and nutritious, delicious snacks. Rest Stop signs alert riders when one is ahead. You can also see the location of each Rest Stop on the maps that will be inside the rider packet you receive when you check-in. Rest Stops are generally open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition to the Rest Stops, one or two water stops per day will provide water and restrooms.
Each day at the first rest stop or at lunch, you can drop off a limited amount of clothing to be taken back to the evening’s campsite. This service is for small items such as jackets, tights, leggings, gloves, etc. No half-eaten bananas, half-stuffed panniers or other oddities will be transported. Gear drop can be picked up near Rider Services, generally between 4 and 5 p.m.
There will be multiple SAG vehicles on the course each day. They are available to transport cyclists in cases of mechanical problems or medical injuries. They also have extra water, snacks, and sunscreen if needed. If at any time you need assistance, please signal a SAG vehicle with a “thumbs down” signal. If you do get into a SAG vehicle, you may not be transported directly to camp. The SAG vehicles usually wait until they are full to go to camp.
Trek Bicycle PDX (formerly Bike Gallery) will have mechanics in camp and on course. They will make basic repairs in order to get you through the weekend. Cyclists will incur any charges associated with parts or extensive repairs.
Adventure Medics provides around-the-clock medical support on the course and in camp. If you require medical attention on the course, you should notify a SAG, ambulance, or staff vehicle with the “thumbs down” signal.
Motorcycle safety patrol volunteers drive the Cycle Oregon course each day. They are a great source of information and assistance and enhance the overall safety of the ride by interacting with riders who may pose a hazard by unlawful or unsafe riding.
Check-In and Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-Up will be available during these times:
- Friday, July 22, from 3:00 – 9:00 p.m.
- Saturday, July 23, from 7:00 – 9:00 a.m.
Packet pick-up is not available prior to event.
Please do not pitch your tent prior to 3 p.m. on Friday.
When you check in, you will be asked to sign a waiver and then you will receive your packet, which includes a wristband, course maps and t-shirt. Bring a photo ID. You must show your photo ID to pick up your packet. Once we affix your wristband, it should not be removed unless you leave the ride. The wristband is what identifies you as a participant and gives you access to meals and course support.
Can I bring my e-bike?
We’re excited about the experience e-bikes offer riders and while we welcome e-bikes on all courses, and have made e-bike support a focus for 2022. We are limited by the access to power outlets in many of the small communities and remote locations where we will be making camp for each event.
Visit our e-bikes page for more information. We will be updating our terms of support as we learn more and develop improved systems. This is a complicated challenge with numerous variables but it is a challenge we are excited to take on.
CANCELLATION POLICY AND WAIVERS
We understand things happen in life and sometimes you have to cancel your registration. We want to make it as easy as possible to do so. Please note we do not make exceptions in our cancellation policy (including family, medical, or employment situations). We cannot offer credits or transfers.
Submitting Cancellations: Please submit cancellation requests to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note we do not make exceptions in our cancellation policy (including COVID-19 related issues, family, medical or employment situations). Refunds will be processed through the credit card you used to register when possible. Processing fees incurred at the time of purchase are non-refundable. Please allow up to 30 days for processing.
Through May 28, 2022
- A $50 fee for each rider registration, (including accompanying products – parking, dorm room or RV parking). A $35 administrative fee will be assessed to your refund for cancelling only a dorm room. There is no refund for cancelling only parking.
From May 29 to June 25, 2022
- A $75 fee for each rider registration, (including accompanying products – parking, dorm room, or RV parking.) A $60 administrative fee will be assessed to your refund for cancelling only a dorm room. There is no refund for cancelling only parking.
After June 25, 2022
- There are no refunds for cancellations after June 25, 2022.
Cycle Oregon may cancel or reroute an event due to the occurrence of any force majeure event or credible threat thereof, including but not limited to any Act of God, fire, earthquake, acts of civil or military authority, casualty, flood, war, terrorist attack, epidemic, insurrection, civil unrest, strikes or other labor activities or any other similar cause beyond the reasonable control of Cycle Oregon Inc., including environmental conditions that might threaten the health and safety of Event participants, volunteers or staff. I understand and agree that my registration fees and other costs will not be refunded by Cycle Oregon, Inc. if all or any portion of a Cycle Oregon Event is cancelled or rerouted due to a force majeure event. I will release and hold Cycle Oregon Inc. harmless for any costs or damages incurred as result of cancellation or rerouting of a Cycle Oregon Event due to a force majeure event.

Rider health and safety is paramount on Cycle Oregon events. Working within the guidelines from the Oregon Health Authority, we have developed COVID-19 safety plans and protocols which we will amend as new updates and guidelines are announced leading up to an event.
Updated 7/21/2022 – As of March 11, 2022 masks are no longer required for indoor settings or group activities in Oregon. There are exceptions, masks are required in healthcare settings, and we ask that you are mindful of additional requests you may encounter while in Corvallis and surrounding communities during WEEKENDER.
Masks are not required at WEEKENDER but we support those who choose to wear them for any reason they may have. We recognize members of the Cycle Oregon community and those associated with support of this event hold varying views on face covering. Out of respect for one another and in the spirit of the Cycle Oregon mission we ask that you honor our mask-friendly policy at WEEKENDER– Do what’s best for you.
Teasing, mocking, harassment or intimidation from any position towards others will not be tolerated.
