GROUP RIDES ARE BACK

Back by popular demand our good friends at Old Gold, Tough Luck, and Paydirt (who also happen to be the folks that keep that amber goodness flowing from the Whiskey Wagon on the Classic and GRAVEL) will be leading casual Thursday and Saturday rides throughout May and June.

Explore the Portland Metro area by bike and maybe discover a new route, or conquer that new climb in a positive group setting. Expect your group ride session to start out at a mellow, moderate pace; think a picturesque pedal along Marine Drive on a warm Thursday night, for an overall distance of 20 to 30 miles. Saturday rides will be longer and will likely take us out to our neighboring communities and back into town, traveling the many bike lanes, pathways, and trails that the metropolitan area has to offer. Other routes include a trek to Larch Mountain or the Sauvie Island Loop starting from The Old Gold in North Portland with a pit stop at the Nossa Familia café in the Pearl.

So why should you join us for these group rides? For the fun, for the fitness, and simply for the ride. And, of course, all of these group rides begin and end at your friendly neighborhood establishment, where a well-deserved cold drink awaits you at the end of your journey.
